Hey, it's Cindy ๐ฑ Instead of pasting your writing into some random "humanizer" tool every time, you teach Claude the tells once and save it as a reusable skill.
btw the waitlist for AI System Club is now open! If you're keen on using AI to automate your content, video editing, job search, business or build AI agents, feel free to sign up (only if you want to hehe). Ps. the waitlist gets first dibs:)
One honest thing first. This will not magically beat every AI detector, and it does not try to. Detectors are unreliable, so much so that OpenAI quietly shut down its own AI-text detector for a low rate of accuracy (TechCrunch). What this skill actually does is make your writing sound like you again, not default-AI. That is the goal worth chasing.
start here
The 3-step build
๐ Find the tells. Have Claude read the Wikipedia "Signs of AI writing" page and pull out the exact patterns that give AI away, so you are working from a real, sourced list, not vibes.
๐ ๏ธ Turn it into a skill. Use skill-creator, Anthropic's official skill for making skills, to package those rules into a reusable /human skill.
โจ Install and use it. Add the skill to Claude, then type /human before any writing task and it applies your voice rules every time.

The 2 prompts
First, teach Claude the tells straight from the source:
๐ find the AI tells
Open the Wikipedia page "Signs of AI writing" and list every pattern that gives AI away, then never do them.
Go through the page properly and pull out the concrete tells: the punctuation habits, the sentence shapes, and the filler words and phrases. For each one, show me a quick before and after so I can see what the human version looks like. From now on, treat this list as rules you always follow when you write for me.
Turn everything we just found into a humanizer skill I can reuse.
Use skill-creator to build a skill called "human". The SKILL.md should tell you to rewrite or draft text so it reads like a real person wrote it: no em dashes, no "it's not X, it's Y", no forced rule of three, no buzzwords like delve, tapestry or pivotal. It must keep my meaning and facts exactly and only change the voice, and when I give you a sample of my own writing it should match my tone to that.
the giveaways
The 4 tells the skill kills
These are the big ones named on the Wikipedia list, and they are what the skill is trained to avoid.
Em dashes The number one giveaway, over-used to bolt clauses together. (I banned them from everything I write.)
"It's not X, it's Y" Negative parallelism as a reflex. Real people rarely frame every point this way.
The rule of three Everything bundled into a tidy triplet, over and over, until it reads like a template.
Buzzwords Delve, tapestry, pivotal, testament, landscape. Filler that sounds smart and says nothing.
make it stick
Install it, then type /human
๐ฆ Save the skill. When skill-creator finishes, it hands you a skill folder with a SKILL.md inside. That folder is your humanizer.
โ Add it to Claude. On claude.ai, go to Customize, then Skills, and add the skill. In Claude Code, drop the folder into your skills directory. Full steps are in Anthropic's create custom skills guide.
โ๏ธ Use it. Type /human before you draft or paste something and Claude applies your voice rules automatically, no copy-pasting into a separate tool ever again.
Make it truly yours: paste in two or three things you have actually written and ask Claude to fold your habits (sentence length, favourite words, how casual you are) into the SKILL.md. The more it knows your voice, the less it sounds like anyone else's.
