The honest method. Ignore anyone telling you to "connect Claude to your LinkedIn" with some connector. There is no free official connector that reads your profile for you, so the real, free way is copy-paste, which is what this guide uses. If you have Claude in Chrome (a paid feature), it can read the page for you, but that is optional, not required.
why it matters
Recruiters search, they don't browse
A recruiter types a job title and a couple of skills into LinkedIn's search and works through whoever comes up. If your headline and profile do not literally contain those words, you never appear in the list, no matter how good you are. So the game is simple: get the right words, in the right places, written the way a human still wants to read them.
One more free lever before we start: just having a profile photo makes you far more likely to be found. LinkedIn's own data says a photo makes your profile 14 times more likely to be viewed (LinkedIn Talent blog). If you have no photo, fix that today.

The 5-minute fix
📋 Copy three things off your profile. Your headline, your about section, and your top one or two experience entries. That is all Claude needs.
🎯 Paste them into Claude with your target. Tell it the exact role you want, and paste in a real job description you would actually apply to. The job description is where the keywords come from.
✍️ Ask for three rewrites. A headline, an about section, and your experience, each rewritten to the formulas below.
🩺 Run the audit. Have it flag what is missing: keywords from the job description, numbers, an empty featured section, a missing photo.
📌 Paste it all back. Drop the new headline, about, and experience straight onto your profile. Done, and now you are findable.
Here is the one prompt that does all of it. This is the "PROFILE" prompt from the reel:

You are an expert LinkedIn strategist and technical recruiter. Here is my current profile: [paste your headline, about section, and top 1-2 experience entries]. The exact role I am targeting is [role], and here is a real job description for it: [paste the JD].
Rewrite three things for me. (1) A headline in the format: title + niche + one result with a number, packed with the keywords a recruiter would actually search for. (2) An about section where the first line is a genuine hook and the rest is skimmable, in first person. (3) My experience rewritten as outcomes with numbers, not a list of duties.
Then audit what is missing: keywords from the JD I do not currently have, a weak or empty featured section, vague bullets, and anything a recruiter would bounce off. Give me the fixes as a short checklist I can action in five minutes.

The 4 rewrite formulas
Headline Title + niche + one result with a number. Not "Marketing Manager", but "Marketing manager, DTC brands, scaled paid to $1M+ spend".
About, first line The first line has to hook, because LinkedIn cuts it off at "see more". Lead with the result or the person you help, not "I am a passionate...".
Experience Outcomes, not duties. "Grew X by Y%", not "responsible for X". Numbers make a recruiter stop scrolling.
Skills and keywords Pull the exact skill terms from the job description into your skills section and your text, so search actually finds you.

No numbers Everything is vague. Numbers are what make experience believable and scannable.
Empty featured section Free proof space, sitting blank. Add a post, a project, a link, anything real.
