Hey, it's Cindy ๐ฑ You commented MCP, so here is how I connected Higgsfield to Claude and every one of the six codes I used, with the exact prompts to copy.
btw the waitlist for AI System Club is now open! If you're keen on using AI to automate your content, video editing, job search, business or build AI agents,
feel free to sign up (only if you want to hehe). Ps. the waitlist gets first dibs:)
the basics
What the codes actually are
Higgsfield has an MCP server, which is a way for Claude to use Higgsfield's tools for you. Inside it are ready-made editing effects you trigger with a short code like /tier-list or /text-behind. You give Claude a vertical clip of you talking, type the code, and Claude reads what you say, picks the right moments and renders the effect onto your video with sound effects included (Higgsfield MCP).
What it costs. The effects themselves render for free. The only paid step is the background cut-out, which the codes that put text or cards behind you need (text-behind, freeze-frame and over-the-shoulder). One cut-out per clip is shared by every code you stack on it. It uses the first 60 seconds of your clip.
do this once
Way 1: connect it inside the Claude app
- โ๏ธ Open your connectors. In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and click the +.
- ๐ Add a custom connector. Choose Add custom connector and fill in the two boxes below, then click Continue and sign in to your Higgsfield account when it asks.
- ๐ฌ Attach your clip and type the code. Start a new chat, attach a vertical video of you talking, type the code (for example /tier-list) and send. That's it.

the way I found works best
Way 2: run it in your IDE, pointed at your video files
My favourite way is doing it inside an IDE (I use Claude Code in VS Code). Instead of uploading clips one by one, you point Claude at the folder your videos already live in, and it uploads them, runs the codes and saves the finished files back next to them. Great when you have a whole batch to edit.
- ๐ป Add the MCP once. Open the terminal in your project and run the command below. Then type /mcp inside Claude Code and sign in to Higgsfield.
- ๐ Put your clips in one folder. For example a folder called clips inside the project you opened.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Ask in plain words. Name the file and the code in a sentence, like the prompt below. Start the message with a normal word, not the slash, so Claude Code does not read it as one of its own commands.

๐ point it at your files
Use the Higgsfield /text-behind effect on clips/my-video.mov. Pick the strongest word from each point I make, then save the finished MP4 into a folder called edited next to the original.
one
1. /tier-list
A ranking board drops in over your video and each item lands in its row the moment you say it. It uses your own labels (S to D, top five, whatever you say out loud), so rank things out loud in the clip.
โจ additional tweaks to perfect the look, in case you want to edit anything
Rank the AI tools I mention in this clip, in the order and tiers I say them.
two
2. /glass-graph
A frosted glass card with a line graph that climbs from one number to another. It fires when you say a number, a percentage or a change, so say the before and after out loud.
โจ additional tweaks to perfect the look, in case you want to edit anything
Show a graph every time I say a number or a percentage change in this clip.
three
3. /over-the-shoulder
A before and after card that sits just over your shoulder, news-anchor style. Best for any comparison you say, like "5 apps" before and "1 tool" after.
๐ copy
/over-the-shoulder
โจ additional tweaks to perfect the look, in case you want to edit anything
Add a before and after card for every comparison I make in this clip.
four
4. /text-behind
A big bold word appears behind your head, so you sit in front of the text like a magazine cover. Claude picks the strongest word from each point you make.
โจ additional tweaks to perfect the look, in case you want to edit anything
Put the key word from each point I make behind my head.
Small trick. Your head should cover roughly a third of the word, never the bottom of letters like E, L or R (an E with its bottom hidden reads as F). If a word looks off, ask for a different word from the same sentence.
five
5. /freeze-frame
The video freezes, you get cut out like a sticker with an outline, and a name tag pops up. Use it when you introduce yourself or a new point.
โจ additional tweaks to perfect the look, in case you want to edit anything
Freeze on the moment I introduce myself. Name tag: [YOUR NAME], small line: [WHAT YOU DO].
six
6. /captions
Animated captions across the whole clip, taken word for word from what you say. There are three looks to pick from: spotlight, cascade and classic. A good base layer under the other codes.
โจ additional tweaks to perfect the look, in case you want to edit anything
Use the spotlight look, three words at a time.
Tips that make them look good
Say it out loud Every code reads your speech. Numbers, rankings and names you actually say are what show up on screen.
Stack them Put several codes in one message, like /captions /text-behind, and they all go on the same video.
Ask for stills first Ask Claude to show you a few still frames before the full render, so you can fix a word or a position early.
Vertical and talking They are built for a vertical clip of one person talking. A clear face and good light give the cleanest cut-out.
