Hey, it's Cindy 🌱 These are the five courses from the reel, with every link. They are all genuinely free, most come with a real certificate.
btw the waitlist for AI System Club is now open! If you're keen on using AI to automate your content, video editing, job search, business or build AI agents, feel free to sign up (only if you want to hehe). Ps. the waitlist gets first dibs:)
You do not need to pay hundreds to get certified in AI. Every course below is genuinely free to take. One of them (Anthropic's) has no certificate, and that is flagged clearly so you know before you start.
match to your goal
Pick by what you actually want
🌱 "I want to understand AI from scratch." Do Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki. Six weeks, no coding, plain-English foundations, and a free certificate at the end. The best true starting point.
✍️ "I want better answers from any AI tool." Do Anthropic's prompt engineering tutorial, free on GitHub. Nine chapters, straight from the team that builds Claude. Note: it is free but has no certificate, so do it to actually get good, not for a badge.
🤖 "I want to build AI agents." Do the Hugging Face AI Agents course. Free and certified, and you ship a real working agent by the end, so you finish with proof, not just theory.
📈 "I work in marketing." Do HubSpot Academy's AI for Marketing. Free, and the certificate is genuinely recognised in the industry, which makes it worth adding to your profile.
💼 "I just want one credential for my LinkedIn." Do Career Essentials in Generative AI by Microsoft and LinkedIn. Free, with a professional certificate you add straight to your profile.
One thing to skip. If you specifically want free and certified, skip Google AI Essentials for now: the course is good, but its certificate sits behind a paywall (around $49 a month) and is only free to audit. The five above give you the certificate without the subscription.
how to actually finish
Don't collect courses, finish one
The reason people have ten half-done courses is that they treat starting as the win. Flip it: one finished course with something to show beats five you bookmarked.
Pick one, tied to a goal Choose the single course that maps to what you actually want next, not the most impressive-sounding one.
Block the time Put two short sessions a week in your calendar. A course with no time booked never gets finished.
Build as you learn Apply each module to a tiny real project, so the learning sticks and you end with a portfolio piece.
Add the cert When you finish, put the certificate and the project on your LinkedIn the same day. Proof beats a claim.
Let Claude turn the course into a plan you will actually complete:
🗺️ turn a course into a plan + a project
I am about to start [course name] and I want to actually finish it and have something to show, not just collect another certificate. Build me a realistic weekly study plan based on how the course is structured, assuming I have about [X hours] a week, and for each module tell me the one key idea to take away.
Then design a small, real project I can build alongside the course using what I learn, so by the end I have a portfolio piece and a certificate, not just a certificate. Tell me what to do in week one so I start today.
