5 AI tools that run your job hunt for you

Hey, it's Cindy 馃尡 These are the five tools from the reel, in the order you'd actually use them: find real jobs, apply fast, research the company and practice the interview.
btw the waitlist for AI System Club is now open! If you're keen on using AI to automate your content, video editing, job search, business or build AI agents, feel free to sign up (only if you want to hehe). Ps. the waitlist gets first dibs:)
馃挕 One honest thing first. None of these "beat the ATS robot", because the auto-reject robot mostly isn't real. What these tools genuinely do is compress the repetitive work (finding, filling, tracking, rehearsing) so your hours go into the human parts: relationships, positioning, and interviews.

step one 路 find

HiringCafe

Free, no paid tier for candidates. It crawls more than 116,000 company career pages twice a day and indexes every posting straight from the source, so ghost jobs and already-filled roles simply disappear from your search. Powerful filters (salary, remote, visa, tech stack) on top of listings that are actually live.

step two 路 apply

Simplify

Free forever for the core: unlimited autofill and unlimited application tracking (their own help centre's words). You build one profile, and the browser extension fills applications across 50+ job boards and thousands of career sites, logging every application automatically. The paid Simplify+ tier ($39.99/month) adds AI tailoring, but the free layer is the workhorse.

馃搶 Skip the score. Simplify includes a "resume ATS score" feature. Ignore it: tailor your resume for the humans who read it, not an imaginary robot.

step three 路 research

ChatGPT Work

Free tier with limited use; the full Work agent unlocks on Plus at $20/month. Brief it like a researcher: the company, the role, who's interviewing you. It browses and comes back with a structured doc covering the company's situation, your interviewers' backgrounds, and salary benchmarks. It can't log into your accounts or submit anything, which is exactly the right boundary.

step four 路 practice

Yoodli

Free to try: 5 lifetime sessions on the Starter plan (anything over 30 seconds counts as a session, so treat them as dress rehearsals, not warm-ups). An AI interviewer asks live follow-up questions, then grades your filler words, pacing, and answer content. Pro is $8/month billed annually if you're in a heavy interview cycle, and the multi-persona mode simulates a whole panel.

step five 路 position

Claude

Free tier; Pro from $17/month on annual billing. The positioning layer for the whole hunt: your LinkedIn headline and about section, outreach messages that don't read as AI-written, and salary negotiation prep grounded in your real numbers. Claude won't invent metrics for you, which is the honest feature: bring your real wins and it makes them land.

I'm job hunting for [role] positions. Here's my current LinkedIn
about section and 3 real things I achieved in my last role, with
numbers: [paste].

1. Rewrite my headline and about section: specific, confident,
zero buzzwords, built around those real numbers.
2. Draft a 4-sentence outreach message to a hiring manager for a
role I like, referencing the actual role, not flattery.
3. Build my negotiation prep: the questions to ask, my walk-away
number based on [market range], and exact phrasing for
   countering the first offer.

the flow

Putting it together

Daily, 20 minutes HiringCafe with saved filters, apply to the genuine fits via Simplify. Volume without the busywork.
Per interview ChatGPT Work research doc the day before, one Yoodli mock the morning of. Walk in over-prepared.
Weekly One Claude session to sharpen positioning based on what's getting responses, and to draft the week's outreach.
Always Track everything in Simplify. The pattern in your response rate tells you what to fix next.
馃尡 Honest expectation. These tools compress the grind; they don't replace the part that gets offers. The people winning right now use the saved hours for referrals, real conversations, and preparation, not for doubling their application count.
