Hey, it's Cindy ๐ฑ You commented connect, so here's the exact setup for all three, in the order I'd add them, plus ten more connectors worth adding.
btw the waitlist for AI System Club is now open! If you're keen on using AI to automate your content, video editing, job search, business or build AI agents, feel free to sign up (only if you want to hehe). Ps. the waitlist gets first dibs:)
What this gives you. Claude that can properly read a website, drive a real browser on tools with no AI connection, and understand a video instead of guessing from stills. Each one removes a thing Claude genuinely cannot do on its own.
start here
1. Firecrawl, so Claude can read the web properly
Claude can browse, but Firecrawl is what makes it read a page structurally. The one that surprises people is the branding pull: point it at a company and it returns their colours, fonts and logo together, which is a brand kit in one go rather than an afternoon of squinting at a screenshot.
๐ Open Claude's connector directory Settings, then Connectors. Firecrawl is listed there now, so there is nothing to install.
โ Connect, sign in, approve Three clicks. Claude asks permission the first time it uses it, which is normal.
๐จ Try the branding pull first Ask for a named company's colours, fonts and logo. It is the fastest way to see what it does that normal browsing does not.
Cost. The free tier is 1,000 credits a month, which is plenty for occasional research. You only hit limits if you start crawling whole sites.
2. Playwright, so Claude has hands
This is Microsoft's, it is open source under Apache-2.0, and it is the one that matters if you use tools with no AI connection. Claude opens a real browser, clicks real buttons and fills real forms. Anything you can do in a tab, it can do in a tab.
the one command
claude mcp add playwright npx @playwright/mcp@latest
No API key, no account, no config file. Run it once and Playwright shows up in Claude Code.
The thing worth understanding. Playwright does not "look at" the page the way you do. It drives the browser through an accessibility snapshot, which is the structured version of what is on screen. That is why it is reliable: it clicks the actual button rather than guessing at pixels. It also means it works on pages that look nothing alike.
Treat it like giving someone your logged-in browser, because that is what it is. Start on tools where a mistake is cheap. Do not point it at banking, and watch the first few runs rather than walking away.
3. Cloudglue, because Claude cannot watch video
This is the one almost nobody has, and it fixes a real blind spot. Claude cannot watch a video. It can look at stills pulled out of one, which is why it often describes what is in a video but not what happens in it.
Cloudglue watches the video properly and hands Claude back a timestamped account of what occurred. The timestamps are the whole point: they are the difference between a summary and something you can actually work from.
๐ Same directory as Firecrawl It is Anthropic verified in Claude's connector list, so it is a connect-and-approve, not an install.
๐ฅ Give it a video and ask what happens, with timestamps Ask for moments, not a summary. That is where the difference shows.
โ๏ธ Use it on your own footage Finding the three usable moments in a long recording is the job it is genuinely best at.
Free tier. Cloudglue's free plan gives you 25 minutes indexed. Enough to test it properly on real footage before deciding.
Which one to add first
If you do research or competitor work Firecrawl. The branding and pricing pulls pay for themselves the first week.
If you're stuck in a tool with no AI Playwright. It is the only one of the three that changes what Claude can do rather than what it can read.
If you make or study video Cloudglue. Nothing else closes that gap, and most people do not know the gap exists.
If you just want the quickest win Firecrawl, because it is three clicks and no command line at all.
One naming note, so you don't get corrected. "Anthropic verified" in the connector directory is a listing status, not authorship. None of these three are made by Anthropic. Firecrawl and Cloudglue are independent companies and Playwright is Microsoft's.
ten more
10 more connectors worth adding
Recommendations rather than full setups. Every one of these is in Claude's own connector directory, so adding any of them is Settings, then Connectors, then connect and approve. No commands.
Canva Opens, edits and exports the designs already in your account, so Claude stops telling you what to go and make.
Notion Writes straight into your real pages and database rows, so the work lands where you already track it.
Descript Actually cuts a video file and hands you back a share link, rather than describing the edit.
Gamma Turns a block of writing into a designed deck or social set you can export, not a bullet list to lay out.
Zapier One connector gives Claude hands in thousands of apps that have no connector of their own.
Airtable Reads and edits a real database, so your tracker updates itself instead of you retyping the answer.
Calendly Creates booking links and changes your availability, so scheduling admin stops being a tab you open.
Apify Pulls real numbers off sites that block ordinary reading, including social, instead of guessing.
Stripe Reads what you actually got paid and builds payment links, without exporting a CSV first.
Supabase Stands up a real database behind a form or a waitlist, so a non-coder gets working storage.
What is actually free. Notion, Airtable, Calendly, Apify and Supabase all have a real free plan, and the connector itself works on it. Canva's connector works on free but Autofill and Brand Templates need a paid plan. Descript's free tier is 60 minutes of media a month and exports carry a watermark. Zapier's free plan is 100 tasks a month and each Claude tool call uses two, so budget about 50 calls. Stripe has no monthly fee at all, you pay a percentage per transaction that varies by country.
๐ฑ If you only add one. Notion if you already live in it, Zapier if the tool you need has no connector, Apify if you want real numbers off social, and Descript if you make video.
โ ๏ธ Stripe asks before it moves money. In Stripe's own words it "requires human confirmation before it takes certain write actions, such as refunds and outbound payments". Worth knowing before you connect it.
