Hey, it's Cindy 馃尡 Three of the biggest names in tech (Microsoft, IBM and Google) each put out a real, recognised AI certificate that's free and fast.
btw the waitlist for AI System Club is now open! If you're keen on using AI to automate your content, video editing, job search, business or build AI agents, feel free to sign up (only if you want to hehe). Ps. the waitlist gets first dibs:)
馃挕 Why this works. Recruiters skim for signals. A named certificate from Microsoft, IBM or Google is a signal they already trust, and it shows on your profile without you having to explain a thing. Free, fast, and it screenshots well on a resume.
the three
The 3 certs to stack this week
馃煢 Career Essentials in Generative AI (Microsoft x LinkedIn) The one to lead with. A free learning path of about 5 short courses, roughly 4 hours total, covering how generative AI models work, real use cases, and the ethics of using them. No LinkedIn Learning subscription needed. When you finish, the Professional Certificate lands automatically in the Licenses & Certifications section of your LinkedIn. Cost: free. Time: about 4 hours.Start the path here.
馃煥 AI Fundamentals (IBM SkillsBuild) The one that gives you a verifiable badge. An entry-level program covering the history, real-world uses and ethics of AI, ending in a digital credential verified by Credly plus an IBM completion certificate. It's a bit longer (plan for a few hours across a week), but a Credly badge is genuinely shareable and employers can click through to verify it. Cost: free. Time: a few hours. Find it in the catalogue at IBM SkillsBuild (search "Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals").
馃煡 Introduction to Responsible AI (Google Cloud) The quick win. A microlearning module on what responsible AI is, why it matters, and Google's AI principles. This is the short one, you can finish it in about 15 to 20 minutes in a single sitting, and you earn a badge you can add to your profile. Cost: free. Time: about 15 to 20 minutes.Take it here.
馃幆 Do them in reverse-length order. Knock out the 15-minute Google one first for an instant badge and momentum, then the Microsoft path, then IBM. One evening plus a couple of short sessions and all three are done.
make them count
Stack these on your resume
Three certs from Microsoft, IBM and Google reads far stronger together than any one on its own. Give them their own line so a recruiter can't miss it:

Then let Claude do the fiddly part, tailoring the wording to the actual job you're applying for. Paste this in:

I just finished three free AI certificates:
1. Career Essentials in Generative AI (Microsoft and LinkedIn)
2. AI Fundamentals (IBM SkillsBuild)
3. Introduction to Responsible AI (Google Cloud)
Here is my current resume: [paste your resume]
Here is the job I'm applying for: [paste the job description]
Write me:
1. A clean "Certifications" section listing all three.
2. One line for my resume summary that shows I'm AI-literate for THIS role, without overstating my skills.
3. A short, natural LinkedIn "About" paragraph that weaves these in.
Keep it honest to what these certs actually cover (AI foundations,
responsible use, generative AI basics). Do not describe me as an
AI engineer or claim deep technical skills I haven't shown.
the honest bit
Keep it real
馃毇 These open the door, a project keeps you in the room. They're foundational credentials, not proof you can build. Pair them with one small real thing (an automation, a data project, an AI-assisted piece of work) and you go from "took a course" to "actually uses this". That combination is what gets the interview.
